This rich and balanced decaffeinated coffee from Veracruz, Mexico is created using a top-secret all-water method developed by the Descafeinadores Mexicanos. Unroasted green coffee is soaked in water, causing the caffeine and flavor components to dissolve. It is then filtered through a special charcoal filter, which traps the caffeine molecules while allowing the flavor components to flow through, removing 97% of the caffeine in the process. The perfect choice for a busy morning or a cozy day in, this roast is silky and sweet, with notes of chocolate and a nutty finish.

The decaf is very good. It has a nice rich flavor. And I LOVE the peppermint bark!!! Thanks to Derek for giving the tip of adding a bit of sugar to make the chocolate flavor pop!!!! My new favorite coffee!!!
